Veni veni Emmanuel (O come, O come Emmanuel)


ESP. Según Wikipedia (link en inglés aquí) Emmanuel significa "Dios (está) con nosotros", por esto este bello himno del siglo XII se canta en Aviento y Navidad. Como siempre, dejo aquí la partitura y un video con mi interpretación, la traducción y las notas.



ITA. D'accordo con Wikipedi (link qua) Emmanuel significa "Dio (è) con noi", ecco perché questo bello inno si canta ad Avvento e Natale. Come sempre, lascio qui lo spartito e un vide con la mia interpretazione, la traduzione e le note.



ENG. According to Wikipedia (link here) Emmanuel is Hebrew for "God with us", so this beautiful hymn from the 12th century is usually sing at Advent and Christmas. As usually I leave here the music sheet and the video with my interpretation and the notes.

Today I leave you the music sheet and a video with the notes and translation for the invocation of the Holy Spirit, must be a powerful one since is what the cardinals sing/pray before they elect a new pope. ITA. Oggi vi lascio lo spartito e il video con le note e la traduzione dell'invocazione allo Spiritu Santo. Deve essere una preghiera potente poiché è quello che i cardinali cantano/pregano prima di scegliere un nuovo Papa. ESP. Requiem Æternam

ESP. Mi primer intento será el introito de la misa de difuntos, espero que, como a mi, pueda traer consuelo a alguien más. Poniendo atención al texto y a la música, la palabra que viene a mi mente no es tristeza sino esperanza. Dejo la música y mi interpretación donde se puede seguir la notación y la traducción. ITA. Il mio primo tentativo sarà l'introito della messa dei morti, sperando che, come a me, possa portare conforto ad altri. Facendo attenzione al testo e a la musica, la parloa che mi viene in mente no è tristezza ma speranza. Posto sia la musica che la mia interpretazione dove si può seguire la notazione e la traduzione. ENG. My first try is the Mass of deth's Introit. I hope that, like it do it for me, may bring comfort to others. Paying attention to the lyrics and the music, the word that come to my mind is not sadness but hope.
